Liquid algae control for ponds with plants and fish. Colorless and non-corrosive, AlgaeFix controls many types of algae including "green water" blooms and filamentous algae. Thoroughly mix into pond/fountain by adding near the pump outflow, waterfall, or aeration device, or premix in a bucket of pond water and disperse evenly. Be prepared to siphon out dead filamentous algae to avoid sudden filter clogs and loss of vital aeration. 8 ounces treats 2,400 gallons.
To use: Add 1 teaspoonful of PondCare AlgaeFix for every 50 gallons of pond/fountain water. Repeat dose every 3 days until algae is controlled. Do not use with crustaceans, including crabs, shrimp, and freshwater lobsters.
